After OIF, Brad and Nate retire from the Corps and become private contracters. They're doing some kind of ninja stealth Blackwater shit, and Nate gets shot. Hawaii Five-O

Sherlock BBC

Sherlock, John and Lestrade are exposed to something and have to be quarantined together. Per the rules of the meme, at least one of them must succumb to whatever it is.: "An Isolated Apology" by rusty_armour

Sherlock has invented a compound that causes fevers and uses it on various people (John, Lestrade, Anderson, Mrs. Hudson, etc.) to document their reactions. Supernatural

Dean is running a high fever. And he's convinced that he's a cowboy in one of his beloved Westerns. : "Shane" by mad_server

Dean is put under some kind of spell/curse wherein he spikes a high fever whenever he's near an attractive woman.: "Charmer" by mad_server

So actually, the Winchesters aren't all that great at dealing with illness because they actually don't get sick that often, and generally cope with illness by ignoring most symptoms or just suffering through it. In other words, sick!whoever fic without any of the usual comforty bits. Feel free, however, to tack on some other wiser person turning up and taking charge and generally being competent and annoyed about the whole thing.: "Torrid" by hansons_angel

Dean is poisoned/infected by a supernatural creature whose venom causes fever, disorientation, partial paralysis, hallucinations, etc. All things that make the victim easier to entrap. Except Sam finds him first and h/c ensues.: "Half-off" by mad_server

His first winter in Paris, d'Artagnan comes down with a fever and winds up fainting while out somewhere. Fortunately, his three friends are there to take him home and look after him: "Froides Mains" by radondoran


White Collar

Neal is sick and exhausted. He's in bed, attempting to read while he rests, but he can't; he's too tired, or can't take the light. Peter comes upon him, takes the book from him, tells him to close his eyes, and proceeds to read to him. by sahiya

Neal's sick, but Peter's in a bad mood and not happy with Neal in regards to one of his instances of withholding information. So, Neal's trying to fly under the radar and hide his sickness, but his fever's climbing and he ends up passing out either in the office or while they're out on a case by anniehow

Some time after the events of 3.01, Neal is ill/drugged/poisoned and in his delirious or simply kind of out-of-it state, he lets something slip about what he was really up in the episode. Peter hear (or overhears): "Places to Go and Secrets to Keep" [SPOILERS FOR 3.01] by tj_teejay

Sara comes down with a bug and Neal's chivalrous streak kicks in: "Someone to Watch Over Me" by sahiya

Neal gets very sick while Peter and Elizabeth are on vacation without him while he's still wearing the anklet. Their relationship is a secret, so no one thinks it's necessary to bother Peter about what's going on: "In Sickness and Health" by sahiya

Neal's in the hospital, seriously ill and Peter's absolutely ragged. He won't leave, and he's exhausted and scared to death, and in serious need of some comforting of his own. I want *this* comforting to come from a less conventional source: "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" by rabidchild

X-Men First Class

After working a bit too hard with Cerebro, Charles spikes a fever and collapses. Erik finds him and proceeds to take care of him: "Proving a Point" by alone_dreaming

Erik hates showing weakness almost as much as he hates doctors. He gets sick, and Charles ends up having to be really careful, taking care of him without appearing to do so: "Every Man His Lion" by ariadnes_string

    So, I realize this is a prompt-commentfic meme, but is there any interest in/way of listing feverfics that aren't responses to prompts? I've written a few, and since this is such a nice master list, was wondering if they could be added. thanks =)
